Digital Samurai

Overview
“Digital Samurai: Information Technology” is a blog by John W. Simek, a noted author, lecturer, and Vice President of Sensei Enterprises; and Michael Maschke, Chief Information Officer at Sensei Enterprises.

Purpose
This blog was developed to give John and Mike a place to talk about everything IT related -- no holds barred, the gloves are off and there are no sacred cows. A lot of legal tech will be covered, because SENSEI acts as IT consultants to over 200 law firms in the metro D.C. area. But John and Mike will cover technology generally as well.

Significance of Blog's Name
Skilled with both pen and sword, the samurai of feudal Japan were fierce warriors. They lived by the code of Bushido, “The Way of the Warrior,” which stressed loyalty, mastery, and honor. John and Mike are loyal to their readers. They're also masters of Information Technology, with an impressive array of industry certifications to prove it (See John's bio or Mike's bio on this site for a more detailed list). They're both also honest to a fault -- hence, Digital Samurai.
