The Women's CenterSharon D. Nelson and John W. Simek will be presenting a workshop at The Women's Center of Vienna, Virginia on September 20, 2007. The 2-hour workshop, entitled "DIGITAL ABUSE OF WOMEN: HOW TO COMBAT SPYWARE, CYBERSTALKING, CYBERBULLYING AND CYBERHARASSMENT," will educate women — often the victims of cyber crime — on options and legal recourses where electronic evidence is crucial in order to collect proof of such activities.

Virginia State BarSensei President Elected to
Virginia State Bar Council!

Sharon D. Nelson, Sensei’s President, has recently been elected to serve on the Virginia State Bar (VSB) Council, the Bar’s governing body. Her election to serve on the VSB Council, known as the administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia, is a huge honor and will allow her to work closely with other council members to advance the availability and quality of legal services provided to the people of Virginia; and to assist in improving the legal profession and the judicial system.
