Job description: Sensei Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a motivated, highly independent computer forensics technologist. The successful applicant will be an EnCase Certified Examiner who projects professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. Other technical certifications are a plus. A modest amount of travel is required. Previous expert witness experience is helpful, but not a requirement. We are a small but prestigious company and it is important for all employees to be good team players who can also work well without supervision. This is a varied, challenging position under the tutelage of John Simek, a nationally known computer forensic technologist with extensive expert witnessing, lecturing and writing experience. Required: Applicants for the Senior Systems Engineer position requires high-level industry certifications and an extremely good knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft server platforms.
The Senior Systems Engineer is principally responsible for installing LANs and networking technologies for our clients, and training and supporting clients and their networks. The Senior Systems Engineerconfigures the equipment and software to meet client business needs, trains the customer on the solution, and documents the solution for ongoing support. The Senior Systems Engineercan function as part of an implementation team on larger projects, or individually provides the services on support visits or smaller projects. The Senior Systems Engineermay also provide technical support to the sales staff and assist with the design of LAN-based solutions.
Beyond these core accountabilities, however, the Senior Systems Engineer plays a significant leadership role in the company. This includes independently managing the integration of advanced technologies into client environments, leading project implementation teams and managing project activities, and assisting with the training and development of the Division's staff. The Senior Systems Engineeralso participates in development of quality assurance steps, technical standards and operational procedures.

Principal Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality integration services to our clients, including configuration of servers, workstations and internetworking equipment on servers and workstations.
Ensure technical excellence in service delivery to maximize billable time and customer satisfaction and to minimize non-billable time.
Submit time sheets promptly, thoroughly and accurately, with appropriate breakdown of billable time by activity, to ensure company profitability and meet billed utilization goals for the position.
Provide telephone/modem/on-site support to our customers, independently troubleshooting technical problems by analyzing the problem and applying a scientific methodology to resolve the problem promptly and cost-effectively.
Provide training to the client on company-installed technology solutions and solution components, to maximize the value the client receives from our service and the technologies they purchase from us.
Prepare work product documentation, checklists, training materials and standards documents to ensure a high-quality of service delivery and maximize our efficiency and effectiveness.
Thoroughly document problems and steps to resolve them, to maximize institutionalization of knowledge. Develop technical standards documents and implementation procedures for new technologies.
Thoroughly test all work, and involve the client in acceptance testing to ensure their needs are met. Through thorough testing, ensure that client systems are fully functional and meet the client's business needs.
Lead project teams and assist in management of assigned projects with the Project Management Department.
Effectively communicate with our clients and staff. Build a good working relationship with the client, ensure an understanding of the client's needs and objectives, and involve the client in cost/risk decisions.
Follow company internal communications guidelines and workflows.
Follow company procedures to deliver services in an organized, effective manner to ensure customers perceive us to be thorough, well-prepared and punctual. Take ownership of issues and show professionalism and control.
Develop and maintain a broad background in our core technology offerings, to ensure high quality coverage and skill depth for our clients. Adapt to and quickly learn new technologies and products.Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred, in a technical or liberal arts discipline.
5+ years of technical expertise with Windows Server and BackOffice application servers. Experience with Macintosh and/or UNIX internetworking, TCP/IP, Internet connectivity, handheld devices and Wide Area Networking is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
Experience in technical project management and demonstrated ability to take a project through all phases of implementation as well as post-implementation follow-up is highly desirable.
Experience in leading a technical project team, staff training and/or supervision is highly desirable.
